New from Atlus and the creators of Persona 3, 4 and 5 is Metaphor: ReFantazio, a fantasy JRPG with a new universe to discover.

Fans of Persona have been waiting years for the sequel to the acclaimed person 5despite the fact that Persona is a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei, Persona gained popularity much more strongly in the West than its main universe, and has become more recognized as well.

well sadly We still don’t know anything about a Persona 6but what we can celebrate is that the creators of modern Personas they are currently working on a new JRPGand from the looks of it, he will look quite visually and thematically similar to Persona, only that in a medieval fantasy universe, his name is Metaphor: ReFantazio.

We haven’t gotten to see much of the game obviously, but from the trailer it looks like it will have a fairly political and power struggle narrative as to who will succeed to the throne.

It can be interpreted that here the player will take control of the potential future king, but that he must show everyone that he has the will and strength to take the throne.

The game has a fairly solid and marked visual style, as expected of all Personas, but it also shows that it will stand out from its spiritual predecessor. we hope that Atlus show more of Metaphor: ReFantazio before the end of the year, as it will be out in 2024.
