Microsoft has revealed the second wave of Game Pass additions for September, along with some titles arriving in early October, and there are notable games on the way. In total, four new launches are expected on the same day during the second half of September.
The game based on Pinocchio, Lies of P, is now available on Game Pass. It’s a new same-day release on Game Pass. Another release on the same day is the whimsical battle royale game Party Animals (September 20), which allows players to turn into animals and fight until only one person or team is left standing.
Another new release on the same day, Payday 3, will arrive on September 21. This is the latest installment in the cooperative series of heist-themed FPS. Finally, a fourth new release on the same day is Cocoon (September 29). This is a disturbing puzzle game with “world hopping” mechanics.
Microsoft has also revealed a few titles coming to Game Pass in October, including the Batman game Gotham Knights (October 3) and the new same-day release The Lamplighter’s League (October 3).
September has already seen the launch of Microsoft’s biggest game on Game Pass in 2023, Starfield, and Microsoft has launched Game Pass Core, making this month a crucial period for the Xbox catalog and broader ecosystem.
