Having leaked through an early Windows Central report, Microsoft has officially announced the removal of xbox live gold and welcome to Xbox Game Pass Core. It will launch on September 14 and will provide access to multiplayer, more than 25 games and “exclusive offers for members” for $9.99 monthly and $59.99 annually.

For those who are interested, please note that the game library may vary by country. More titles will be announced before the service launches in September. New games will be added two to three times a year, though how many at any given time is unknown. Those currently subscribed to Xbox Live Gold will automatically switch to the new plan with no price changes.

  • Force Horizon 4
  • gear 5

  • Halo 5: Guardians

  • Human Fall Flat
  • Inside
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps
  • psychonauts 2
  • State of Decay 2
  • The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited

Games with Gold officially ends on September 1. All Xbox One games redeemed through it remain accessible to Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Xbox 360 titles obtained through it will remain in our library, even without a subscription. You can watch the announcement video below.
