What is to come with the Ryzen 7000 is very big. You know that when…
In the meantime, it is simply no longer unusual that smartphones in the cheaper middle class are also very well equipped. A 120 Hertz display or a wide-angle camera with 50 megapixels are already standard and are no longer reserved for the flagships. An image of a data sheet has now appeared on Twitter that gives hope for further improvements for mid-range smartphones.
The notorious and usually well-informed leaker
Evan Blass has published the corresponding spec sheet. On it you can see the specifications for the new Snapdragon chip for mid-range smartphones and this should be on the name

In addition, the new chipset is to be manufactured using the 4-nanometer process. This results in a potential performance boost and better battery life compared to the current SoC (system-on-a-chip). The predecessor, named Sapdragon 695, was still manufactured using the 6-nanometer process.
As usual, various features of the higher-priced smartphones will sooner or later migrate to the cheaper mid-range. Thanks to the new chip, machine learning should be improved. This applies, for example, to the live translation of texts or functions in photography.
The mobile platform should also enable up to 108 megapixels when taking pictures. In videography, the SoC should support a resolution of 4k with up to 30 frames per second. The predecessor reached a limit of 1080p at 60 frames per second in this area.
What other notable features are there? The integrated communication modules are improved. In addition to Wi-Fi6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G is supported with a download speed of up to 2.9 Gbytes per second.

When will the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 be released?
An official date for the alleged SoC is not yet known. There is also no confirmation from Qualcomm, so the leaked data sheet should be treated with caution.
However, we can certainly imagine that the new processor could be presented at the upcoming IFA (International Consumer Electronics Fair) from September 2nd to 6th.
In addition to this trade fair, another event is just around the corner. At the upcoming Apple event on September 7th, however, there is a high probability that higher-priced smartphones will be announced. What we are looking forward to, we have summarized for you in this article:
