Minecraft Brings Surprising Feature Nobody Asked For But Everyone Wants – “This Is Really Awesome”

Minecraft will get the big update 1.20 in 2023. Some of this can already be tested, but not all of the new features are already known. In a surprising announcement, the developers now showed that armor can soon be decorated with other materials.

The block game Minecraft is currently experiencing a little hype in Germany. Some major streamers have been exploring the game for the first time, bringing in many new players and viewers.

But there is also a lot coming up in the game in 2023. The big update 1.20 is coming later this year. The first features are already known, and certain things can even be tested on a test server.

With the latest feature presented, the developers have apparently hit a nerve again – you can soon decorate armor.

The feature changes the function of the forge table and the way you can craft Netherite gear. After update 1.20, you will need certain forge templates to be able to upgrade diamond upgrade to netherite level.

There are also such templates for optical adjustments. So you can find templates for armor, which can then be used to combine crystals or bars with armor parts. You can then decorate armor with the following materials:

Armor cannot be adorned with the material from which it was made. In addition, there will be different types of templates that lead to different results. The adjustments are purely visual and do not change the armor values.
