Minecraft Legends launches this April 18
Today during the Xbox and Bethesda Developer_Direct event the release date of Minecraft Legends was confirmed.
As part of the wide variety of announcements, it was also confirmed that the game will arrive on Game Pass on launch day as well.
At the presentation we got our first look at the PvP component of the game. The game will feature a competitive PvP element, and like online co-op, it will be available with cross-platform play.
There is also a lot to build in Minecraft Legends. With the enemy planning an attack on your base, it’s up to you to stack up your defenses and make something as formidable as possible. This includes walls, gates, towers, and an upgrade station. It’s up to you how to draw it, and you can also set traps to slow down unsuspecting players who manage to get inside.

From afar, you still have a few tricks up your sleeve. Siege weapons are capable of firing projectiles from far away to devastate the enemy base, but anti-siege weapons can send back a wave of pain. This isn’t the Minecraft you know, but the spirit of improv lives on.
Minecraft Legends launches on April 18 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
