Insider-Gaming has revealed that the next Call of Duty game, scheduled for a November 2023 release, will reportedly be called Modern Warfare III.

The game will feature campaign, multiplayer, Zombies and a new map for Warzone 2, and will be developed by Sledgehammer Games with support from Activision’s network of other teams. Although it was initially reported that there would not be a new Call of Duty game in 2023, Activision later confirmed that there would be a “premium annual” release in the same year. It had previously been said that the new COD would be “strongly connected” to the Modern Warfare series, which is not surprising given the popularity of that franchise.
