It had been crying out for several weeks and Nintendo has finally announced something that…
It has long been assumed that a Nintendo Direct will take place again soon. Events are now unfolding. After it was briefly said that the show would probably not take place this week, the insiders rowed back: Apparently we will be getting a lot of news about several Zelda games for the Nintendo Switch very soon.
Zelda BotW2: Will the title of the sequel finally be revealed this week?
It looks quite like this: As insider and journalist Jeff Grubb explains, Nintendo’s plans to air a Nintendo Direct show later this week seem to be sticking with the plan. Among other things, it should finally reveal the real name of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. But that was not all.
But before that, let’s see each other again Zelda BotW 2 trailer on:
Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 – First gameplay trailer shows many innovations
So far we know officially only that a sequel to Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in development (and that unfortunately it won’t be released until 2023). The name of the game has not yet been revealed. Which in turn should be due to the fact that the title could possibly contain some spoilers for the story. But of course there are theories:

Alleged title of the sequel leaked and that could mean it
How serious is that? Jeff Grubb is actually relatively familiar with what he is predicting and a Nintendo Direct in September is also quite likely, since there has always been one in recent years. So chances are it’s coming, but don’t count on it until there’s an official announcement.
The Zelda Collection with Wind Waker for Switch could also be shown
When is the Direct? After fears that the Nintendo Direct could be postponed due to the death of the Queen of England, Jeff Grubb now assumes that it will take place later this week. And not as usual on a Thursday (because that’s the Tokyo Game Show), but earlier. So maybe tomorrow!

More Zelda: For even longer than this Nintendo Direct, there have been persistent rumors surrounding ports of Zelda Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Switch. Both would also have to be announced at some point. That should also happen with the Nintendo Direct, as Jeff Grubb believes (via: VGC).
Last but not least, the Metroid Prime remaster could also be announced. Here, too, the following applies: rumors and speculation have existed for a small eternity. It remains to be seen whether Nintendo will actually hold a Nintendo Direct this week and announce so many remaster releases at the same time.
Are you looking forward to a Nintendo Direct? Which of all do you think is the most likely?
