GamesIndustry reveals that Nintendo Switch was once again the best-selling console in Europe for the month of March 2022. Elden Ring was the best-selling game.
The video game industry continues to grow on the European continent. Despite being a smaller market than the United States, the truth is that the numbers are very positive if we compare them with last year.
According to GamesIndustry data, during the past month of March more than 14.2 million sets were sold in Europe. This represents an increase of 34% compared to March 2021.
Both PS5 and Xbox Series X continue to be held back by a lack of stock in stores. Therefore, and being a fact that is not surprising, Nintendo Switch was once again the best-selling console during the month of March in Europe.
Switch sales were 9% better than March 2021. GamesIndustry study reveals that a total of 332,000 consoles were sold in Europewith Xbox in second place and PlayStation as a bronze medal.
Of course, in terms of accessories, a domain of Sony is observed. PS4 and PS5 controls (DualShock 4 and Dualsense) were number 1 sales in Europe, ahead of the Joy-Con and Xbox controllers.

Behind we find FIFA 22, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and WWE 2K22, which has been the great surprise in the European market. Other games present are Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands or Triangle Strategy, to cite examples.
