nintendo wants increase Switch production during this year, despite the fact that there are indications that it would be the last of the current hybrid hardware.
According to Bloomberg, thanks to a recovery in the component manufacturing industry and continued skyrocketing demand for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo has good reason to continue producing the console.
There are recent rumors that a successor to the Switch will be out in mid-2024, but this doesn’t mean that Nintendo will necessarily start slowing down production of the 2017 hybrid machine, with a global console base of close to 120 million. units.
If anything, it looks like the gaming giant is hoping 2023 will be one last big year for Switch, before attention shifts to whatever comes to replace it.
