Elden Ring is everything fans hoped it would be. We are talking about a very broad game, vast and, above all, full of secrets what to find and what to use for the craziest possible speculations. Far from filling the list of theories, each one as crazy as possible, today we bring you a new excuse to tour the Middle Lands: illusory paths.
Illusory walls are something Common in Soulsborne, although in Elden Ring this reached a very crazy level with a wall that needed no less than 50 hits to reveal the secret that it jealously guards. In this case, the secret is under our feet and that is that there is also secret paths throughout the game that require some expertise to throw ourselves at them. Several users have shared through Reddit and social networks videos throwing rainbow stones to mark the way through these trails as if it were an Indiana Jones movie.
One of them, as we have been able to verify thanks to the indications on Reddit, is in the Hidden Path to the Hieratic Tree, a hidden area of the game map that is quite complex to complete and now adds a new complexity. Another is located on the tops of the mountains of the giants that lead to the tower of heresy and the mechanism to overcome it is a deadly trial and error.
As you can imagine, there is no hidden mechanic or much easier way to overcome these paths than trying your luck. In fact, at the time of writing this news, only two hidden paths have been found in the game, but FromSoftware does not usually reveal the secrets of its titles by itself, so now we have a new reason to continue exploring the game in search of new ways.
The truth is that although it is a surprise for those of you who may have finished the game, it’s not a novelty for the saga. Hidden paths have been the general trend since the first Dark Souls, hiding secrets or passageways that connect two apparently separate areas.
