NVIDIA DLSS 3 and Reflex come to Cyberpunk 2077 in recent update
CD PROJEKT RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is already one of the most advanced games available, using various ray tracing techniques to render a dense future city in incredible levels of detail.
Cyberpunk 2077 adds performance-accelerating NVIDIA DLSS 3 to its arsenal of cutting-edge technologies. NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) is a groundbreaking revolution in AI-powered graphics, boosting the performance of GeForce RTX GPUs using dedicated Tensor Cores.
Powered by the new hardware capabilities of the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture, DLSS 3 generates entirely new high-quality frames, rather than just pixels.
Through a process detailed in full in our NVIDIA DLSS 3 article, DLSS 3 combines DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation technology to rebuild 7/8 of the displayed pixels with AI, accelerating performance to unimaginable levels.
An update for #Cyberpunk 2077 is out on PC. It adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex on compatible hardware.

With DLSS 3, GeForce RTX 40 series gamers can experience Cyberpunk 2077 with every setting and ray tracing option maxed out for the best image quality, without compromising performance.
According to NVIDIA, out of the three GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs available on the market, it’s the RTX 4070 Ti that gets the biggest boost from DLSS OFF (native rendering) to DLSS 3 ON (DLSS 2 Quality Mode + Frame Generation). Under these circumstances, the 4070 Ti runs 4K and max settings at an average frame rate of 84.8 FPS, more than 4 times compared to the native rendering result (20.8 FPS). The RTX 4080 also gets a similar boost (3.8x), jumping from 26.5 FPS to 102.5 FPS.
Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 runs faster on the current top GPU, the RTX 4090, going from 41.8 FPS to 138 FPS, a 3.3x improvement.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One worldwide. The game’s first and only scheduled expansion, Phantom Liberty, will be released sometime this year for PC and current-gen consoles only.
