One Piece has been adapted into a live-action film by Netflix, and today fans are finally able to see the result. Of course, the first season cannot cover all events from the many years of manga and anime history. This means that the series will ideally be continued and there are already the first indications of what could be in store for us and the Straw Hat Pirates.

That’s what it’s about: One Piece is finally here! So the Netflix film adaptation with real actors. The first season is now available to stream on Netflix and brings a surprise or two. Apparently those responsible are also quite confident about the future of the series.

At the end of season 1 there is a preview of the second season. So if One Piece is continued, it should already be clear where the journey is going next. Of course, this shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to those who know the template, but beware of spoilers.
This is what happens at the end: One Piece hero Luffy has defeated Arlong and in addition to East Blue’s highest bounty, he’s finally got his own Wanted poster. The Straw Hat Pirates then make their way to the Grand Line.
The teaser looks like this: We see a mysterious figure from behind, holding a cigar. With the cigar, the character burns Luffy’s Wanted poster.
Here’s a rear view of the One Piece character, which is believed to be Smoker.
Who is this? Apparently this is Smoker, a naval admiral that the pirate gang has to deal with again and again in the template. Season 2 should then be dedicated to the Alabasta arc with Sir Crocodile and Smoker as the main antagonists.
Is season 2 even safe? No, you definitely shouldn’t get excited too soon. The film adaptation is of course designed to reproduce the entire content of the manga or anime template. But no second season has been officially confirmed yet and Netflix is notorious for canceling successful and popular series.
