Orlando Bloom wants to play Will Turner again in Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year (we’ve just grown two new gray hairs as I write this), which means it’s two decades since we met Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner. The future of the franchise is unclear after the recent uproar surrounding Johnny Depp, but there has been official talk of continuing with a spin-off.

But if there is someone who would love to return to Pirates of the Caribbean if more roles were made, it is Orlando Bloomwho played a pirate “apprentice” Will Turner. In an interview with Parade, he explains:

“Oh gosh, you know, I got to go back and play Legolas in The Hobbit, which was 10 years later. I was like, ‘This is so much fun! Because it’s a great space to be in, and I think Will – I mean, Will is so big. In a way, I wouldn’t mind seeing what Will looks like now, because he was a very serious guy, but after being at the bottom of the ocean for so long, it would be interesting to see how he surfaces and what he’s like. “.

What do you think about the news? Should there be more Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and if there is another, do you hope Will Turner will return as well?
