Overwatch 2 will celebrate its first anniversary with access to past events

Overwatch 2 will celebrate its first anniversary and will bring many rewards. For three weeks, modes from past events will be playable throughout the year in Arcade, along with the opportunity to earn Overwatch Credits, which can be spent on skins. The most popular designs in a limited time anniversary store.

• Week 1: Winter Paradise and Battle for Olympus

The first week of the event, the game modes from the Winter Paradise event will return. Here we can play Operation Snowball, both in Elimination and Deathmatch versions. Try the epic 1v5 Yeti Hunt, or the challenging Quick Freeze elimination game modes.

Also, Battle for Olympus will return this week with the Free-For-All Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch game modes.

• Week 2: Assault, Catch-A-Mari and Starwatch: Galactic Rescue

Classic Overwatch Assault maps are once again playing in Arcade. Assault maps require teams to capture or defend two static objective points. This mode is often considered the most difficult to play due to the intense and long team fights.

It will also bring back Catch-A-Mari mode, the elimination confirmation game mode in which we will collect fallen Pachimari toys from defeated opponents to score points for your team and win. Plus, save the galaxy with the return of Starwatch: Galactic Rescue.

• Week 3: Summer Games and Mischief and Magic

In the third and final week of the anniversary event, favorite Summer Games event modes will be available, including Winston’s Lucioball and Beach Volleyball. They’re also bringing back Mischief and Magic, the prop hunt-style game mode, where Genji Knight chases the mischievous Kiriko Rogue as she transforms and hides like everyday objects.

• Earn credits to redeem skins from previous events in the store

Earn up to 3,000 Overwatch Credits by completing all challenges that appear throughout the event. Use them to purchase premium skins from previous events in the Anniversary Credits Shop, including Space Raider Cassidy, Beekeeper Sigma, Lúcio Hermes, and more! You’ll also be able to save your credits for new opportunities with other popular skins coming in later seasons.

The Overwatch 2 Anniversary 2023 event is now live until October 9, and the Anniversary Store will disappear on October 16.
