After Atlus having presented Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactic in the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Obviously, the two games were officially announced only for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows, which, given the fact that it was an event hosted by Microsoft, wasn’t a surprise. However, as expected, the Japanese developer has confirmed that both titles will also be available for additional platforms after launch.
The company has confirmed that the turn-based strategy game Persona 5 Tactic it will also be released for PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Steam, in addition to Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One, while it has been confirmed that Persona 3 Reload It is in development for PS5, PS4, and Steam.
Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch hasn’t been mentioned as a platform for Persona 3 Reload. While that seems to mean the remake won’t be released for the platform, that may not necessarily be the case. After all, when Atlus announced the ports of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal last year, it wasn’t until more than two weeks after their original announcement that they were also confirmed for the Switch.
At the Xbox Games Showcase earlier this week, Atlus also revealed Metaphor: ReFantazio for Xbox Series X / S and PC. How long it will be before the fantasy RPG is confirmed for additional platforms remains to be seen, but it will likely happen soon.
