PlayStation and Backbone present a controller for mobiles inspired by the DualSense
Backbone, the company specializing in peripherals gaming for mobile, has today presented its new command for smartphones: Its about Backbone One PlayStation Edition, a version of their famous device that they have designed in collaboration with the Sony console brand. It has been announced through the official PlayStation blog, in fact, and in addition to a desEsports Extrasinspired by the PS5 DualSense it also offers “a personalized PlayStation experience”.
Actually, this peripheral already exists: It is Backbone’s flagship and one of the most preferred mobile controllers for iOS and Android gamers. How is it different from a standard Backbone One?
The difference between the Backbone One PlayStation Edition and the standard model of this peripheral is that it has been designed in collaboration with PlayStation itself: It is the same white color as the DualSense and PS5, it has the iconic official buttons of the brand, and a new section has been added in the Backbone application in which the PlayStation exclusives that can be played on mobile appear via Remote Play PS5 and PS4 (although it is compatible with any mobile game that allows controller controls).
Like the standard model of Backbone One, this edition features a compact desEsports Extrasthat can be folded to accommodate multiple mobile devices, low latency connection system, image capture button and videos, another dedicated to opening the Backbone app, connector Jack for 3.5mm headphones and direct power through port lightning that uses the iPhone battery (you don’t have to charge it).
