What are these codes? On February 18th, three new promo codes surprisingly appeared. Each rewards you with encountering a Regi Pokemon. There are also golden raspberries.

How long are the codes valid? Redeem these codes quickly with you in Pokemon GO and collect the items. It’s unclear how long the codes will remain active, so act quickly and don’t procrastinate. The Unlocked Researches must be redeemed by February 26th.
What do the codes do? After redeeming it, you will unlock a Timed Research for each code. In research you should solve 3 field research tasks and land a fabulous throw. If you manage to do this, you will receive a Golden Raspberry with each research and an encounter with either Regirock, Registeel or Regice.
How to redeem promo codes in Pokemon GO on Android and iOS
While you can easily redeem codes in the game on Android, you have to go through a detour via an external website on iOS.
Android: Android users open Pokemon GO and navigate to the shop there. Scroll down to the bottom and you will find the field for “Promos”. Tap on it, copy the code in there and confirm the selection. Make sure you didn’t copy any spaces. The items then end up directly in your inventory.
iOS: Entry in the shop is not possible on iOS devices, the corresponding field does not exist at all. Instead, you’ll need to visit Niantic’s Rewards website. You can find the link here: Redeem promo code (via rewards.nianticlabs.com).
Log in here with your linked account. You can then enter and confirm the code. After that, you will be credited with the items in the game. To be on the safe side, you can check this in the in-game diary.
