It has been shared via Reddit with the following post, which has gone viral. In it, Users of the app’s subreddit have observed a daily variation in the names and appearances of the box-like packs in the game, despite the fact that their content remains the same.

It has been hypothesized that this constant change could be a new marketing ploy on Niantic’s part. This fluctuation has caused some confusion among the community from players who have noticed the constant rotation of the boxes but not their contents.
