A YouTuber challenged a trainer who offers himself for money for training duels in Pokemon GO on the Internet. In a video he shows how it went – and how he punished himself for bankruptcies.

Who is the person you are talking about? The YouTuber “Poké Daxi” regularly posts new videos about Pokemon GO and has so far collected 356,000 subscribers with his content. For example, he shows tips and tricks, but also likes to experiment a little with the game.

This is also the case in an interesting video from January 14, 2023: The YouTuber hired a player who offered himself on the “Fiverr” portal for training matches for money.

He writes about himself that he’s been playing Pokemon GO since early 2016 and has “OP teams with Pokemon for PvP battles in every league” (via fiverr).

He offers training if you want to test your team before a tournament or the start of a new Battle League season – or if you simply “consider yourself a worthy Pokemon trainer”.

The trainer offers a set of 5 matches for 9.74 euros, a set of 10 for 19.48 euros and a set of 15 for 24.36 euros. In fact, you can find a number of trainers on Fiverr that offer various services for Pokemon GO.

In any case, Poké Daxi saw an exciting challenge here and competed against the trainer.

YouTuber makes it more exciting – sends a shiny for every defeat

This is the challenge: “On Fiverr you can hire people for different jobs – and today I technically hired a professional trainer,” Poké Daxi explains in the video.

“We’re going to do a few fights in the super league. And to make it exciting, there’s a twist: I told him that I’m training for regionals and that he shouldn’t make it easy for me. But every time I lose, I have to transfer a shiny.”

With the risk of losing some valuable shinys, the YouTuber went into the duels. You can see how it went here in the video of Poké Daxi:

This is how the duels went: Poké Daxi played a total of 5 matches against the “professional trainer”.

In the first match, the YouTuber didn’t want to jump right in with a full meta team. He used Tohaido, Melmetal and Toxiquak – and won against Jugong, Beaver and Nachtara.

The YouTuber’s conclusion was that he had won – but the opponent was better than he thought.

In Match 2, Poké Daxi wants to use “really strong” monsters and uses Machamp, Tangoloss and Alolan Sandamer. His opponent brings Feelinara, Beaver and Nachtara.

The YouTuber loses that – and sends a Shiny Ditto as self-punishment, which is quite rare.

In the third match, Poké Daxi wants to use a meta team to avoid losing any more shinys. He uses Venusaur, Cresselia, and Crypto Alolan Knogga. But he faces Altaria and Nachtara, and he doesn’t even get to see the third monster anymore, he’s countered so quickly. As punishment, he sends a Shiny Lugia to the professor.

The YouTuber contests Match 4 with Azumarill, Zobiris and Alola-Knogge – one of his favorite teams. “If I lose that, I might have to stop PvP,” he says. Against Tengulist, Fiaro and Registeel, however, he again draws the short straw and sends a dazzling Alola Digdri.

The final match should be won by Noctuh, Zobiris and Sumpex. It also works against Hypno, Bibor and Azumarill – and the YouTuber’s shiny collection is spared.

In the end, the YouTuber is happy about his victory, but also says: “These guys really don’t make it easy for you.”
