Poll: How much time do you actually take to play?

For many current games you have to bring a lot of time with you.

For many current games you have to bring a lot of time with you.

Many games are getting bigger and longer due to a general trend towards open worlds full of quests. For example, if you want to complete Horizon: Forbidden West completely, you need over 80 hours. According to the user-managed database HowLongToBeat.com, Elden Ring is the first title from FromSoftware (without additional download extensions) to break the 100-hour mark. Not to mention The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – none of the previous parts can compete with such a huge banger.

And then of course there would be all the service games vying for your favor. Titles like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone and Co. lure you in with numerous events, unique rewards and battle passes that should encourage you to gamble regularly. It’s almost impossible to find time for all of this. At least that’s what we observe within the editorial team. Do you feel the same as us or do you see it completely differently?

You have to find out! Our question is therefore:

Feel free to let us know in the comments which answer option you chose. We would also be happy if you let us share your experiences.

For example, do you play less than a few years ago? Can all the modern time wasters tempt you to play? Or have you steadily reduced your consumption? Has your time investment changed with subscriptions like PlayStation Plus Premium or Xbox Game Pass? Do you gamble through the whole night from time to time?

Please let us know, we are very curious about each of your comments!

Other current surveys on GamePro.de:

Your opinions and assessments are very important to us at GamePro.de, which is why we ask you about certain topics from time to time. Among other things, we wanted to know how long an open-world game should last for you at most, or how many games you actually buy throughout the month.

Incidentally, the time you spend with your console also plays a role in the upcoming PS5 model. In some cases, this saves more than ten percent electricity compared to the previous revisions.

Thank you in advance for your answers and for taking part in our survey!
