PS5 update allows you to update the DualSense wirelessly

A new PS5 update adds a major new feature for DualSense controllers. Since its launch, Sony has been releasing regular updates to significantly improve the user experience.

These updates have not only allowed for more options, but have transformed the PlayStation experience as a whole. One of the biggest changes came in a new update that allows players to join Discord channels and calls through their PlayStation, just like on Xbox.

However, this new update also included another rather important feature. If you’ve had a PS5 for a while, you’ve probably seen it prompt you to connect the USB controller to your PS5 and perform the update. Eventually, the console won’t let you play anything until you update the controller, but that won’t be an issue anymore.

This new PS5 update includes the ability to wirelessly update our DualSense, which will start with the next controller update. If for some reason you can’t update it wirelessly, you can still connect it via USB for the update to take place.
