Red Dead Redemption 2 appears on a government list reflecting the Nintendo Switch as one of its platforms along with PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the user X, Necro Felipe, the presence of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been noted on the Brazilian government’s list. The list, which is still online, mentions Nintendo Switch as one of the platforms along with PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Although it cannot be determined when this list was updated to include the Nintendo Switch, Rockstar has yet to comment on the matter. If true, this would mean that Rockstar’s acclaimed open-world masterpiece would be available on Nintendo’s console.

While it’s hard to see Red Dead Redemption 2 running natively on Switch, remember that The Witcher 3 is available on the console, so it might not be such a crazy idea. Another possibility is that Rockstar has a cloud version of its game in mind.

Last month, Rockstar released a PS4 and Nintendo Switch version of the original Red Dead Redemption, which runs at 30 frames per second. On Switch and the standard PS4, Red Dead Redemption displays at 1080p resolution.
