Red Dead Redemption 2 could receive a next gen update, according to a leak

According to leaks of Microsoft documents, Red Dead Redemption 2, one of the most critically acclaimed and successful video games, could receive a next-gen console update.

Leaked emails (via Reddit) reveal that Microsoft expected this upgraded version to launch during or after Take-Two’s second quarter of fiscal 2023.

Although the release of this update has not occurred so far, this does not rule out the possibility that Rockstar is working on an improved version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The company is known for its secrecy, so launch plans could have changed or even been cancelled.
