It’s been four months since Sony Pictures and Capcom announced Resident Evil: Death Island and offered us a first trailer stating that it would arrive sometime this summer. Now we can set a date for the premiere.

The two companies have released the first full trailer for Resident Evil: Death Island to announce that the film will be released both physically and digitally on July 27. They also offer us several scenes that explain why Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine end up on Alcatraz Island and show some of the unimaginable horrors that await them there.

Doesn’t that sound like a great premise for a game?
