Respawn Boss Bombs Titanfall 3 Hopes
Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out today, and while the sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is reaping critical acclaim (and EA didn’t want finite solo stories!) , the fact that Respawn has put its Star Wars action games in the foreground has left another great franchise in the background.
Titanfall 3 is a game that people have been asking about for years, and Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has just dashed many fans’ hopes that it’s coming soon. Speaking to Barron’s (via GamingBolt), he said: “It has to be the most appropriate thing. It’s a franchise that is very loved by the fans and also by us. If it’s not the right time, the right idea, it doesn’t make sense.”
There were rumors that a single player Titanfall game was in the works, but earlier this year it seems that EA canceled the project. Unfortunately, it seems that there is time left for those fans to get back on their Esports Extrasntic wicks.
