Returnal: Available February 15th with ray tracing for PC

It is no longer unusual that Sony also publishes some titles for the PC. The next PC game, “Returnal”, is to follow on February 15th. Now Sony has also published some details on specific features.

With supported graphics cards, Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD FSR are optionally available so that you can offer a better visual experience and frame rates can be increased without compromising resolution. If you don’t have the right hardware, you can still use Nvidia NIS (Nvidia Image Scaling) to increase performance. In addition to shadows, reflections with ray tracing are now also supported, so that the contrast between dark environments and neon-colored balls is clearer. Especially for PC gamers, there is also support for wider screens with 21:9 and 32:9.

In addition to the visual effects, you also want to score in the audio segment. For example, Returnal has 3D sound on the PC: either Dolby Atmos or 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound.

Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are supported in conjunction with DualSense controllers. You can feel dynamic vibrations when they meet. However, keyboard and mouse support and a range of customization options for the controls are also provided.
