Returnal makes it clear when confirming its date on PC: you will need a machine to play it in all its splendor
One of the big announcements that we witnessed last month at The Game Awards 2022 gala was the confirmation that Returnal was going to head to PC, without detailing when that moment would take place. After a few weeks of uncertainty, the Housemarque team wanted to put an end to the mystery by revealing its release date for the February 15.
The frenetic roguelike will be out for compatible players in less than a month, so you have a few weeks to prepare for your journey to the dangerous world of Atropos. Above all because they have also materialized even more what your minimum and recommended requirements will be and those that must be fulfilled by the computers so that it can be seen with the graphics to the maximum.
Some of these details came to light last month, and virtually all remain intact. The only striking change is found in the recommended requirements that now asks for 16 GB of RAM instead of 32 GB, while keeping its Nvidia RTX 2070 graphics card to make it move at 60 fps in 1080p.
On the other hand, those who aspire to make the game look with the graphics to the maximum should have a PC that is fairly up-to-date, because in this case it is requested an i7-9700K processor and an Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card for the image to go to 60 fps in 4K, while the use of ray-tracing will require the same card and an i9-11900K processor. Custom PC configurator
Housemarque wants to take the opportunity to make the PC version as essential as the original PS5, which is why it will introduce some very important features, such as the fact that it will be compatible with Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR technology to further improve its performance without affecting the resolution.
Plus, all the action can be viewed on ultra-wide 21:9 or super ultra-wide 32:9 monitors. And those looking for greater immersion will still be able to enjoy its spectacular surround sound section and use the DualSense controller with its adaptive triggers and haptic vibration to feel each shot in your hands.
