Riot Games continues to prepare for the start of the 2023 preseason from League of Legends. During the last few days we have been presented with a lot of updates regarding objects, communication and the jungle regards. And it seems that we will continue to see more changes in this last aspect. As it has been revealed in networks, it seems that the Rift Scuttle LoL, that “crab” that appears both in the upper and lower areas of the river, would be subject to modifications again.
Since he came to the MOBA back in the Season 4, Rift Scuttler has been subject to multiple changes. The last one came during Season 11. At that time they added a shield to this monster that could be killed instantly with the smite or with any ability that would inflict some kind of CC. Something that will soon cease to exist in the video game.

League of Legends Rift Scuttler is getting some new changes
The person in charge of revealing this update has been spideraxe. As confirmed, this neutral monster will be nerfed and the changes are already on the PBE. For now these would be the only changes to the Rift Scuttler. This means that junglers will continue to look to grab him to outpace their opponent in the game.
The moment in which the Rift Scuttler appears is vital within the different encounters. And it is that we normally see how the teams fight to gain control. Aside from gold and experience, the crab grants vision in the riversomething vital to keep the lines more or less safe and, of course, have more control over the rival jungler.
We’ll have to wait to see how these changes fit into the Rift Scuttler and if Riot Games ultimately decides to change anything regarding the gold or experience awarded by the monster.
