Rockstar is working on a security update for GTA Online – Latest News
Rockstar confirmedthat it is preparing an update for the PC version Grand Theft Auto Online in response to an exploit preventing some players from accessing the popular multiplayer gangster action. We reported on the situation here yesterday.
Hacked players may lose access to their game account in GTA Online. There are also cases where they are stuck in an infinite loading loop, or someone sent a billion in-game dollars to their account, for which they received a ban from Rockstar. Other times, the camera can go crazy, you can’t walk with the character, etc.
We are aware of potential new exploits in GTA Online for PC, which we aim to resolve in an upcoming planned security-related Title Update.

Modders and insiders recommend not playing GTA Online on PC until the patch. There is a risk that in addition to losing the game account you risk attacking the operating system. If you were to play anyway and lose your progress, you should delete the GTA Online folder from your documents so that the PC can download the backup from the game server.
Rockstar is aware of the exploit and I am preparing a security update. We currently don’t know when it will be released. Instead, the developers encouraged players to contact the support page if they encounter any further issues.
Remote Code Execution (RCE) abuse is a common problem in several multiplayer games. The most affected was Dark Souls, when the creators had to because of it shut down your PvP servers for a month.
#GTAOnline PC High Alert⚠️
New extreme exploits have appeared allowing cheaters to remotely add/remove/modify your stats and permanently corrupt your account aka ban/delete.
Avoid playing without a firewall rule or playing at all!🚨
