Rumor: Armored Core VI would be released before the Elden Ring DLC

Now that we are well into this year 2023 we can get a more general idea of many titles that we will play this year. And one of the ones that arouses the most curiosity (both for the studio behind it and for its quality as a “reboot” of the series) is Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.

The title developed by FromSoftware was announced during The Game Awards gala in December, and since then we haven’t had any more news about it, although now that could change, and it would even leave us a more or less clear launch window. the leaker eXtas1s (the same one that already advanced the Overdose project of Kojima Productions last year) has now reported from Exputer that Armored Core 6 will be released between the months of September and October 2023and also that we should not expect the newly announced Elden Ring DLC ”Shadow of the Eldtree” before then.

“Some sources have revealed that the developers are targeting Armored Core VI for release between September and October. Unless there are any further internal delays, there is a better chance that the title will be released in late September rather than delayed until October.

Also, I’ve been told that FromSoftware wants to release Armored Core 6 before releasing the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring.”

Although, as always, we will have to wait for From Software to confirm this leak, we can give this window a lot of credibility, since it ensures a good release date in the second half of the year, which still has many gaps to fill in the calendar.
