Rumor: Ubisoft “goes all-in” with Assassin’s Creed series

Last September, Ubisoft revealed the future of Assassin’s Creed, which included a bunch of new titles like Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red, which finally brought the series to feudal Japan, Assassin’s Creed: Codename Jade, which will be a mobile title. , and Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe, which will focus on the witch trials in 16th century Europe.

In addition to these games, there are a couple more titles in the works, but according to Insider Gaming, that might not be all Ubisoft has planned for Assassin’s Creed. There could be up to four other Assassin’s Creed games, said to be in concept and prototype stages.

It’s interesting to see Ubisoft go all-in on Assassin’s Creed, but it’s not unexpected either. There are few Ubisoft IPs that come close to the sales figures for Assassin’s Creed, so it’s no wonder there are so many games in the series in the works.
