Sex becomes an official speedrun category in Baldur’s Gate 3 and someone has already pulled it off in less than 8 minutes.

Mae, a speedrunner, who has already beaten the game in less than 10 minutes, has also answered the question we’ve all been asking since the RPG’s release: how fast can you have sex with someone? The answer is surprising: only eight minutes!

Mae uses Key Spells to fast forward and spend the night with Lae’zel. Once Mae reaches Shattered Beach, she continues to jump to where Lae’zel is being held prisoner by a pair of tieflings. After a quick deception skill test and some magic missiles, Lae’zel is released and has no idea that she will be seduced by this stranger in the next five minutes.

The battle against the goblins in the Emerald Forest is the longest and most normal part of the race. Mae is unable to jump over them and is forced to wait every turn in battle. Once it is finally over, Mae punches and convinces one of the tieflings, Zorru, to give in to his crush on the githyanki. Lae’zel is more than pleased with this, and she tells Esports Extraschad to visit her at the camp tonight.

Mae currently holds the world record for Sex% in BG3, which is now an official category on Speedrun.com, after Twitter user Th3ValeOfficial proposed the speedrun.

According to Mae, they managed to reduce the speedrun duration from five hours to eight minutes.
