Today’s Ubisoft Forward Event saw a more comprehensive look at Skull and Boneswhich Ubisoft presented in a developer breakdown.
Skull and Bones takes players to the Indian Ocean to explore the golden age of piracy. As a pirate captain, you plunder merchant ships, gain infamy, and build and customize a variety of ships for your adventures on the high seas. Each ship is as individual as the player himself, where every change can decide whether you win or lose.
Inspired by the legendary stories about piracy, you can get involved with Skull and Bones look forward to an authentic pirate life. From accepting contracts and gathering resources to navigating important trade routes and attacking rich merchant ships, every choice will affect the journey of the future, with varying degrees of risk and reward. By increasing Fame, players can build and fully customize their fleets.
Every trip in Skull and Bones-Universe will be absolutely unique according to Ubisoft. The game can be played in an alliance with up to two players who are met on the high seas – also via crossplay. For an extra challenge, PvP can be activated to test the cannonballs against other budding pirate lords, powerful organisations, local factions or even enemy pirates of equal rank.
Skull and Bones will be released on November 08, 2022.
