Skull and Bones is still afloat, and we will have closed beta in August
It’s been a rocky road for Skull and Bones since it was announced ten years ago, and just last month we learned that the game won’t be out until sometime before April of next year. Today, during the Ubisoft Forward event, they have announced, via a live performance with fake singing pirates, that a closed beta is on the way for the game in question.
Between August 25 and 28, select players from the registration already open here will be able to try the adventure for themselves, with a more specific release date hopefully revealed afterward.
What exactly the beta will offer is unknown at the moment, but any evidence that development on this damn pirate ship is moving forward is something we see as positive for now.
