The Slime Rancher 2 fever does not lower its intensity and more and more players are exploring the Rainbow Island to care for and raise new Slimes. In fact, on its first day we already told you that the title had broken all the studio’s sales records, well above its best forecasts.
Now we know from the mouth of its director and founder Nick Popovich through Twitter that in fact he has already sold 300,000 copies of Slime Rancher 2, all this taking into account that the game is available for free to all users with Game Pass. The title even made it to #1 on Steam’s best-seller list (where it has 92% positive reviews), all while knowing that it’s a game still in development.
Popovich also takes chest of the work culture inside Monomi Park, as it ensures that the game has been developed without crunching at any time, and with significant incentives for workers in development, such as work bonuses and vacation periods.
You can judge for yourself Slime Rancher 2 right now on Steam, Xbox and through Game Pass.
