Sonic Frontiers sales numbers far exceed expectations
Sonic the Hedgehog games have been of very mixed quality over the years, and it’s almost safe to say that we’ve had as many bad games as good ones. Fortunately, Sonic Frontiers has shown itself to be a member of the latter, and became wildly popular when it was released last November.
Until now, we didn’t know exactly how it had fared in sales (at least since the last report in December), but during Sega’s latest quarterly report, it was revealed that “the number of units sold for Sonic Frontiers far exceeded our estimate.” original”.
