SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is now available

THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp Games have just released a SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, a 3D platform game that follows the ladder of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated. It is available for Xbox One, Series X, PS4, PS5 Nintendo Switch and PC.

The game follows the adventures of our square neighbor and his best friend Patricio Estrella, who have plunged the city of Bikini Bottom into total chaos thanks to some magical bubbles. It is a 3D platform and adventure game in which we must visit up to 7 levels based on different eras such as pre-history, the Old West and a TV studio. We must acquire special abilities, collectibles and face a new threat.

We carry out a review in which we conclude that it is a good game that emulates one of the best chapters of the series. Being a fun and entertaining game that perfectly adapts to the style of absurd humor of the animated series. The story is interesting and full of twists and turns, and the characters are fun and true to the series. However, it can be easy for more experienced players, as it hardly offers any difficulty challenge.
