Stadia is dead: Destiny 2 players get a free month of NVIDIA GeForce Now
On January 18th, Google Stadia officially went offline. Some users were not really happy about that, but the procedure is not unusual for the Mountain View company. If you’ve played Destiny 2 on the platform, you may receive an email from Bungee, according to 9to5google. This contains a code for a free priority month of NVIDIA GeForce Now. This must be redeemed on the relevant NVIDIA page.
With Stadia closing, you might be looking for a new place for cloud gaming. We’ve managed to snag some free codes for NVIDIA’s powerful cloud gaming platform, GeForce NOW.
The Priority subscription doesn’t let you onto the new SuperPODS with RTX 4080, but you can still play at a resolution of up to 1080p at 60 frames per second with ray tracing. The maximum playing time is 6 hours. I spent a lot of time in Destiny 2 right from the start of Stadia, but haven’t received an email yet. Let’s see if this is just a campaEsports Extrasfor US customers or if something else is coming.
