Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will have fast travel and mounts

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the great events that await this year for fans of video games and Star Wars. An ambitious sequel to one of the franchise’s best-received titles in recent years. that we can enjoy from 28th of April (its release was recently delayed) on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.

Fast travel and mounts

Now, Stig Asmussen, the game’s director, has confirmed in the latest issue of Play Magazine (via GamesRadar+) that this new adventure have a fast travel system and creatures that we can use as a mount to move at high speed from one location to another.

“There will be as much fast travel as creatures to ride on to help players move quickly from point A to point B and back to A,” Asmussen commented. “Fast travel is from point to point, while riding creatures offer a quick way to navigate between points and explore what is between them.

The adventures of Cal Kestis continue

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor offer us again an action adventure that follow in the footsteps of Cal Kestis five years after the events that took place in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Just like in the original, we’ll travel across the galaxy to battle the Empire as we explore, fight, puzzle, and platform sections.

In the latest preview that we dedicated to this Respawn Entertainment project, we commented that “the story promises not only because of the events that it will tell us and because of the darker tone, but also because of how the characters and the relationships between them have evolved. And by the side of gameplaymaybe we are being optimistic, but what has been described points to more depth in the combats and more freedom in the exploration“.
