Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 comes to Nintendo Switch on June 8

Aspyr has announced the throwing of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch dated June 8 priced at $14.99. It is a remastering of the sequel to the acclaimed RPG that is also available on the Nintendo console. Furthermore, it is confirmed that The Sith Lords Restored Contenta mod created by fans to recover deleted content in the original, It will be freely available after its release.

In Star Wars KOTOR 2, the Sith have hunted the Jedi almost to extinction, and are about to wipe out the Old Republic; the only hope is an exiled Jedi who has difficulty connecting with the Force. We will lead a diverse group of allies, make difficult decisions with great consequences and decide our fate, and that of the entire galaxy. An independent sequel that shows us an epic tale set in the darkest days of the Old Republic.

Among the characteristics of this RPG developed by Obsidian in 2004, Aspyr highlights that choices will not be as clear cut as “good or bad”, something that will lead us to raise the Jedi Order or bring this universe to its ruin. We will be able to choose from three classes of Jedi, each with access to different Force powers.”

Two of the most remembered Star Wars games

Star Wars: KOTOR debut in 2003 and quickly became a much-loved game among fans for telling the eternal confrontation between Jedi and Sith but 4000 years before the first movie. A year later came its sequel, The Sith Lords and a third game was in the works, but was cancelled; players had the opportunity to recover this theme with The Old Republican MMO.

Last year Aspyr announced a remake of the two games that will make some changes, most notably the change to the combat system, which will now be influenced by modern ARPGs.
