Star Wars: KOTOR 2 can’t be finished on Nintendo Switch, developer acknowledges

This month Aspyr Media launched Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on Nintendo Switch, a remastering of the Obsidian game. It is, together with the first BioWare KOTOR, one of the titles of starwars beloved among fans, so much so that Aspyr herself is immersed in a remake of the saga for PS5 and PC. However, not everything is good news, since the developer is aware of a bug critical that prevents you from completing the quest.

The official Aspyr account has responded to a user interested in knowing the date for an update to solve this problem. “This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next patch.. We cannot give an estimated date, but we will notify you when the patch is ready, “replies the study. The player has insisted on the seriousness of the problem that prevents completing the game, to which Aspyr replies that yes, they are aware of this failure and work to provide a solution as soon as possible.

In the Twitter thread itself we can read that some player did manage to pass the problematic point -the sequence of arrival at Onderon- after 14 attempts, something that many players are not willing to try since the conditions for which the crash appears are unknown. The doubt of many fans is how this error could pass the quality controls that exist precisely to locate blocks of this type.
