Bethesda has confirmed in a statement that both Starfield and Redfall have been pushed back to 2023. Specifically, both games will arrive in the first semester Next year.

The news was unexpected by all, and more considering that Starfield had a specific release date until: November 11, 2022. We will have to wait longer to enjoy the new Bethesda IP.
”We have made the decision to delay the release of Starfield and Redfall to the first half of 2023”, confirmed the official Bethesda Twitter account. Why have they been delayed?
We really wanted to know news about both titles. In fact, both Starfield and Redfall will presumably be on the Xbox and Bethesda conference schedule, planned for June 12.

In the Bethesda statement Thank you for the support of the players. and it is indicated that ”Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games”.
The reasons behind both delays are simple: Bethesda wants to deliver the best products to gamersY need more time to polish two AAAs of such magnitude. The decision is understandable.
starfield will be Bethesda’s first original IP (The Elder Scrolls) in 25 years. This ambitious science fiction RPG promises to leave us speechless… and this summer we will learn more about “the Skyrim of space”.
As for Redfall, it is Arkane’s new project (Dishonored, Deathloop), which will be set in a post-apocalyptic open world. Vampires will have a special role in this adventure, focused on cooperative multiplayer.
Starfield and Redfall are two of the great Microsoft exclusives for this generation. They will hit the stores (already Xbox GamePass launch) in the first half of 2023available in Xbox Series X|S and PC.
