Starship Troopers – Terran Command Delayed a Week Before Release to Polish Up Its Wacky RTS Action
One of the great fantasies that 90s action movies left us was Starship Troopers. A wonderful madness in which dozens of space marines had to do with insects of colossal sizes on a planet far away from Earth. Obviously, we have enough material for a good adaptation to video games.
This is the intention of The Aristocrats, the study that is under the protection of Slitherine, the publisher specialized in publishing RTS of all themes. Starship Troopers – Terran Command It follows the same idea since its presentation back in late 2019 and next week it was going to be released… but it has finally been delayed.
In a publication of its file on Steam, those responsible have explained that the game will not be released on March 31 and that the final date will be June 16, 2022. They explain from the work team that “we know that many will find this announcement disappointing and we apologize. We really believe that a few more months of polishing and bug fixing will make a significant difference.”
As usual, an experience as close to the vision of the study is the main objective that is pursued with the delays. They assure that “the game is already complete in terms of content and all remaining development time will be entirely focused on refining what already exists.”
In Starship Troopers – Terran Command we face the harsh conditions of the planet Kwalasha, since the industry of the place is seriously threatened by the threat of giant spiders. We will have to take control of the area with our troops and maintain security at all costs.
Each division and infantry has its own characteristics that must be squeezed to the maximum to resist waves of insects. Of course, the layout of the terrain and the variety of vehicles to be used must also be taken into account.
