The Tokyo Game Show is taking place in Japan from September 15th to 18th, and in the run-up to the show we can look forward to a cracking new State of Play event from Sony.
When is Sony’s State of Play September 2022?
- Date: On the night of September 13th to 14th
- Time: At midnight German time (corresponds to 3:00pm Pacific Time, 11:00pm BST, 6:00pm Eastern Time)
- Length of the show: 20 minutes

What games could be shown at State of Play?
As Sony writes on the PS Blog, with today’s State of Play edition we can expect games from Sony’s Japanese partners in particular.
Specifically, Sony wants to introduce 10 games for PS4, PS5 and PSVR 2.
We’ll likely get a new look at Horizon Call of The Mountain, the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn experience for PSVR 2.
