Doubts to resolve

Valve has presented a section of frequently asked questions to make all the doubts clear. For example, the box in which the docking station arrives brings the dock itself along with a power supply. Compatibility with monitors, televisions, controllers, and various peripherals has been thoroughly tested, although there may always be exceptions.

It is worth remembering that placing our Steam Deck in the docking station does not improve system performance at all. This does happen with Nintendo Switch, but here we can only charge the battery and add connectivity.

Steam Deck vs Logitech G Cloud, comparison. What is the best option for you?

in case you want use the docking station without power you will be able to do it, although the USB ports will reduce their performance to maximize energy efficiency. Of course, Valve will not forget to regularly update the platform, so improvements will be a constant.

Finally, any problem with the accessory can be consulted with the support section of Gabe Newell’s company.
