Along with this announcement they just released a demo on Steam, which allows us to try it out. In Steam World Build we will be the architect of a mining townso we will have to build roads, houses, feed the excavator robots as well as keep them entertained, using all the resources at our disposal.
As the town expands, new types of robots find their way to colonize and their needs are increasingly difficult to satisfy, having to try to make everyone work as well as possible. We can use electrical stimulants to hurry the miners and make them move the goods through the mine, or also do business at the local train station and get what you need that way.
As you get into the depths of the mine in search of richeseventually something may start looking for you. Defend your workers from terrifying creatures and prevent walls from collapsing as you discover the deeper levels of your mine.
There will be five different maps, three difficulty levels and you can play comfortably with a controller. Arrive this year, still no approximate date.
