Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will require players to have an internet connection to play, even in single player.

That’s according to an entry in the game’s recently released official FAQ, which reads: “Yes, an internet connection is required to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League solo or online co-op.”

No reason is given for the need to have an internet connection, however it is likely related to the game’s drop-in/drop-out cooperative play. It also means that if Warner Bros. ended support for the game’s servers in the future, copies of the game, even physical ones, will likely be unplayable.
