Bandai Namco continues to introduce new fighters from its upcoming fighting game.
After presenting a trailer at Gamescom with all its new features, Tekken 8 has now announced a closed beta that will launch on October 20 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This free trial will offer early access to the title through competitive head-to-head cross-platform matchups alongside the TEKKEN Fight Loungean immersive lobby where players will be able to interact with each other and access new features and game modes.
The Tekken 8 closed beta will feature 19 playable characters, from legendary fighters to new faces. In this way, Jin, Kazuya, Jun, Paul, Law, King, Lars, Jack-8, Xiaoyu, Nina, Leroy, Lili, Asuka, Hwoarang, Bryan, Claudio, while Azucena, Raven and the newly announced Feng They will join the playable roster. Among the available scenarios, you can select Urban Square (Sunset), Yakushima, Rebel Hangar, Sanctum, Arena and Ortiz Farm, a new location.
Tekken 8 will not require a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to enjoy its closed beta, which will be open to all players of the Closed Network Tests in June 2023. Now, some new registrations have been opened to participate, and it is expected that those selected will be notified on October 18.
