Combining the traditional Sherlock mystery with Lovecraftian horrors, Sherlock Holmes The Awakened seems to put a unique twist on the adventures of the consulting detective from Baker Street.

The latest trailer for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened shows how Sherlock’s sanity will be tested throughout the game, as it seems that something very sinister is stalking his mentee. The Awakened will also be the first instance of Sherlock alongside Watson (according to Frogwares canon), so it shows us the evolution of the dynamic duo throughout the game.

As Watson advises Sherlock to take a break from the case, the detective struggles even harder to find answers, though peeking into cosmic horror always comes at too high a price. Take a look at the trailer below:
